The competition is run by Hankook Tyre UK Ltd of Fawsley Drive, Heartlands Business Park, Daventry, Northamptonshire, NN11 8UG (‘Hankook Tyres’). The competition is open to UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man residents aged 18 years or over only. This excludes employees of Hankook Tyres, their immediate families and anyone professionally connected with the competition.
The competition is open to any customer buying a Hankook tyre from a participating retailer. Each customer will be given a card showing a unique reference number for each tyre purchased. To enter the competition, the customer will need to log onto dtm-brandshatch.uk.hankook.win, enter the unique reference number shown on the card, register their name and contact details and answer the question shown on the card. The customer will receive an automated email acknowledging and confirming their entry via the website.
The customer must retain their unique reference number card and receipt in order to claim the prize.
Customers entering the competition in accordance with the above conditions will be entered into a weekly prize draw to win two VIP weekend tickets to the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters) at Brands Hatch, plus hospitality and an overnight hotel stay. The winner will be notified by telephone or email, using the contact details provided when registering to enter.
The prize includes:
- Two VIP weekend tickets to the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters at Brands Hatch on 10th – 11th August 2019, plus hospitality and an overnight hotel stay.
- One night’s accommodation on 10th August for the winner and one guest in a hotel selected by Hankook Tyres on a Bed and Breakfast basis sharing a twin or double room. The winner will require a current debit or credit card with sufficient funds available in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes and for any additional room charges.
- A shuttle bus will be provided, running to and from the circuit on both days.
The prize does not include any additional transport, travel, meals or drinks (other than those specified), excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, travel insurance, personal expenses, visa, vaccinations and any other costs not specified as part of the prize. The winner and their guest must be 18 years or older and adhere to all procedures and safety instructions as set out by Hankook Tyres.
The winner is responsible for informing Hankook Tyres of any wheelchair or special requirements for the winner and/or their guest and for ensuring they adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines. The winner and their guest shall also comply with all local UK laws.
The winner acknowledges that Hankook Tyres will have no responsibility and is not obliged to offer any alternative prize if the DTM does not take place for any reason, or if any event, travel or transport arranged by Hankook Tyres is cancelled, postponed or delayed for whatever reason. No alternative prize will be offered if the winner or their guest is unable, for whatever reason, to travel or attend.
The winner or their guest must not be subject to any past convictions. Hankook Tyres reserve the right to conduct checks against the prize winners in such circumstances.
The winner may be required to take part in promotional activity related to the prize draw and shall participate in that activity at Hankook’s reasonable request. By entering the competition, you consent to Hankook Tyres using your name, photograph, voice and image for publicity purposes in any medium and in advertising, marketing and promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice. This consent applies both before and after the prize draw takes place for an unlimited time.
This promotion will run for 12 weeks. Each week, following the weekly prize draw, the winner will be notified by phone call or email using the contact details which they used to enter. If the prize is not claimed within 14 days after this call and/or email, the prize will be withdrawn.
Privacy policy
By entering the prize draw, customers consent to Hankook Tyres retaining their personal data. Any such data will be processed in accordance with Hankook Tyres’ privacy policy, a copy of which is available at http://www.hankooktire.com/uk/privacy-policy.html and may be used for publicity purposes, as set out above.
