Access
Access to Electric Lounge or all guests is strictly with both Electric Lounge ticket and lanyard pass only. Ticket and lanyard pass will also allow re-entry for all guests. Electric Lounge ticket and lanyard pass permit one guest entry and are non-transferrable.
Children
- A child under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18 with a maximum of three children per adult.
- All children 0-12 years of age must wear a child’s Electric Lounge pass. Children over the age of 12 must have Electric Lounge
- Guests under the legal drinking age will not be served alcohol.
Security and personal belongings
- Formula E will have the exclusive right to determine what items may be brought into the Electric Lounge. We will not store any confiscated item, and confiscated items will not be returned.
- It is prohibited to take into the Electric Lounge any weapons, fireworks, smoke bombs, glass bottles, flammable liquids, alcohol or illegal articles which may cause injury.
- The size of permissible personal belongings (including handbags, backpacks, shopping bags and equipment) is limited to 615mm (W) x 410mm (H) per item. Items above the permissible size may not be taken into the Electric Lounge
- Due to space constraints, we encourage you to leave your buggy at home or bring a small foldable one. At busy times, you may be asked to fold up your buggy.
- Personal-use recreational wheeled devices (for clarity, this does not include any mobility aid recognised for use by a mobility impaired person), such as rollerblades, bicycles, scooters, and skateboards are not permitted.
- Guests must keep personal belongings with them at all times. Unattended bags or belongings found anywhere in Electric Lounge will be subject to search and disposal.
- Guests must refrain from bringing in any outside food or beverages, unless medically necessary
Film, photography and audio recording
- Personal photo, video, and/or audio recording is permitted for private, non-commercial use in public spaces as long as it does not impede free movement around the Electric Lounge or public enjoyment in any way.
- Video, photography and/or audio recordings for commercial purposes [(which includes, but is not limited to, publishing, selling, reproducing, transferring, distributing, or otherwise commercially exploiting the recorded media in any manner whatsoever)] is prohibited without Formula E’s express written permission in advance.
Guest Conduct
- Guests are expected to act in a way that safeguards their own safety and that of others. Proper decorum, personal behaviour, and conduct is always required from all visitors in order to provide an equal opportunity to all visitors to enjoy the Electric Lounge and its facilities.
- For their own safety and wellbeing guests must comply with all directions given by Formula E staff.
- Formula E may refuse admission or remove from the Electric Lounge any person:
- who does not comply with the Guest Rules of Conduct
- who behaves in an unacceptable way which is likely to cause damage, nuisance, or injury to themselves, any other guest, or member of Formula E staff, or to the Electric Lounge itself
- whose behaviour is likely to disturb other guests or Electric Lounge staff, such as being antisocially loud, intimidating, offensive or intoxicated
- who refuses to submit to security screening or is found to be in possession of materials which we believe to be too large, dangerous or unsuitable
- whose Electric Lounge pass is found to be reproduced, altered or falsified for the purpose of unauthorised entry to Electric Lounge
- who litters in the Electric Lounge
- who appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- who is found in a restricted area (such as cloakroom, kitchen areas and other back of house areas) without permission
- who engages in commercial activities, soliciting, and/or vending
- Formula E may refuse re-entry to anyone who has previously been removed.
- Guests are allowed to visit the Paddock area at designated Pit Lane times only. Guests are requested to wear their Electric Lounge accreditation to access the pit lane at the pit lane walk time.
- No alcoholic drinks are allowed on Pit Lane walks or in the grandstands
- No guests shall, use, ingest, possess or distribute illegal drugs while in Electric Lounge. If any of the uses above prove true, the Electric Lounge pass will be removed, and the guest will be asked to leave the event.
Animals
Animals (except for guide dogs and hearing dogs) are not permitted in the Electric Lounge without Formula E’s prior permission.
Health and Safety
Guests are primarily responsible for their own safety and for the safety of any accompanying guests under the age of 18, and must adhere to the Electric Lounge Rules of Conduct, which can be found on the Formula E Hospitality Information Hub.
Guests must comply with relevant health and safety legislation any health and safety policies or procedures which are drawn to their attention.
Smoking is prohibited inside the Electric Lounge, this includes electronic cigarettes. Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas.
Any guests suffering bodily injury in Electric Lounge, or has knowledge of damage to the Electric Lounge, must report the occurrence(s) to Electric Lounge staff immediately following the incident
Limitation of liability
Formula E & Hankook Tire or its employees and contractors will not be responsible for any injury, illness, death, loss (for example loss of enjoyment), damage, expense, cost or other sum or claim of any description whatsoever (including, without limitation, for any closure to the Electric Lounge, or evacuation from the Electric Lounge in the event of an incident or accident) which result from any of the following:
- The breach of these Guest Rules of Conduct and/or the act(s) and/or omission(s) of the person(s) affected or any member(s) of their party, or
- the act(s) and/or omission(s) of a third party not connected with Formula E and which were unforeseeable or unavoidable, or
- Formula E shall not be liable in any way if for reasons beyond Formula E’s reasonable control you are unable to access and/or enter Electric Lounge, including but not limited to war, terrorism, government action, natural disaster, adverse weather and/ or industrial dispute.
Formula E & Hankook Tire accepts no responsibility or liability arising from incidental costs associated with guests to the Electric Lounge, which may include, but are not limited to, travel expenses, parking, or accommodation costs, even if the Electric Lounge pass is cancelled or revoked.
Variation
Formula E may amend or vary these Guest Rules of Conduct from time to time by notifying you prior to your visit or placing updated Guest Rules of Conduct on our Hospitality Information Hub.
Law and Jurisdiction
Electric Lounge (Rules of Conduct, and any non-contractual obligations arising in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales (and Germany, if the case involves Hankook Tire) and each party agrees to submit any dispute which may arise out of, under, or in connection with this documentation (including disputes relating to any non-contractual obligations) to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales (and Germany, if the case involves Hankook Tire).
